Sartell outdoor performance venue to open after landscape completion

SARTELL — The City of Sartell is watching grass grow as it finishes the landscaping around a new performance patio at Lake Francis Park.
Mary Degiovanni, city administrator, said the outdoor venue will not be ready for concerts and large events until this fall at the earliest. The city wants to make sure the grass is ready before inviting crowds.
Once the landscaping is complete, Degiovanni says the open green space could accommodate an audience of about 1,500 people.
