Minnesota Veterans Bring Skills, Commitment to Career Fair – July 18

Veterans looking for a job have a great opportunity this month: The 12th Annual Minnesota Veterans Career Fair is set for Wed., July 18.
The Veterans Career Fair will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Earle Brown Heritage Center, 6155 Earle Brown Drive, Brooklyn Center. A change in time from previous years is expected to make it more convenient for veterans who are currently employed, but seeking a different career path, to be able to attend.
“Veterans bring the skills, passion, and commitment Minnesota businesses need today,” said Jim Finley, director, veterans employment service at the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). “Hiring veterans is not good will, but good business.”
