Downtown Sauk Rapids Growing as a Popular Destination

It’s an exciting time to be in downtown Sauk Rapids! The city first made it a priority in the 1990s to build up the downtown area, beginning by adding restaurants and stores. Fast-forward to today and the neighborhood is booming with redevelopment. One exciting change is the addition of the Mississippi Lofts, a five-story apartment building with beautiful views of the river. The project also includes a rooftop patio, underground parking and easy access to nightlife.
The city has also partnered with local, county and state governments to provide incentives to companies to relocate downtown. Officials are dedicated to attracting new businesses to the area and keep the momentum going. For more information, click here.
