Unique partnership serves young people experiencing homelessness find employment and economic stability

Landing a first job and navigating the world of work is a challenge for many young people. Young people experiencing homelessness face much greater challenges than most, from not having a permanent address to put on job applications to not having a safe place to sleep at night. Assisting young people who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability envision a bright future for themselves can make all the difference.

Avivo and a Wildflyer Coffee are partners in an effort to serve unhoused youth in the Twin Cities. Avivo is a Minnesota non-profit that helps individuals and families who face complex barriers achieve economic stability. Wildflyer Coffee has a mission to empower youth experiencing homelessness in setting goals and building a future.  This unique partnership combines job training, wages, and wraparound services to help youth move toward long-term employment and housing stability.
