It is the first day of classes for the students at the St. Cloud Technical and Community College.
President Lori Kloos says enrollment is up about six-and-a-quarter percent this fall compared to last fall.
“So that's 245 students more enrolled for this fall than were enrolled last fall. That's pretty much across the board on campus; programs are either remaining steady, or they are increasing in enrollment.”
Most of the students come from the five-county region, with many students choosing to drive to campus each day. However, Kloos says they do help the students find housing if they need an apartment to stay in while they are in school. And some live on campus at St. Cloud State University while they are enrolled at SCTCC.
