Ticket sales are live for the first annual Taste of Benton County, which will be held on Wednesday, July 22, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sauk Rapids Sports Area East (1410 3rd Ave S). Tickets start at $40 for this 21+ celebration of the region's best restaurants and hospitality businesses.

“There’s a lot of excitement around this event, and we’re expecting tickets to sell out,” says Amanda Othoudt, Executive Director of the Benton Economic Partnership, Inc. “We are planning for up to 500 attendees in our first year alone.”

The Event Can Hold Up to 24 Food Vendors 

Sauk Rapids Sports Area East has enough space for 24 vendors, leaving room for attendees to mingle, eat, and enjoy live entertainment. Each vendor will provide food or drink tastings to attendees, allowing guests to sample dishes from around Benton County and the surrounding area and discover the great cuisines this part of Minnesota has to offer.

Once attendees arrive and check in, all of the tastings are free. Make sure you arrive hungry so you can sample items from your favorite restaurants and try new ones you haven't been to before. 

Taste of Benton County Supports the Community

Not only is Taste of Benton County a fun event, but it is also a great way to invest in the local community. This is a fundraiser for the Benton Economic Partnership, Inc., which supports economic development in the region. These efforts grow existing businesses and bring in new ones, opening up job opportunities and amenities for residents.

In addition to supporting economic development, a portion of the ticket sales proceeds will go to a local non-profit organization. This further stretches your impact.
