Iron Street Distillery is Bringing a New Industry to St. Cloud

Iron Street Distillery is the only distillery in St. Cloud and has been open for 2.5 years. Not only does this mark a new business in St. Cloud, but it also introduces a whole new industry. Customers can visit their cocktail room at 539 E Saint Germain St. and try one (or more) of their six premium spirits: bourbon, rye, whiskey, gin, vodka, and rum. They can feel proud that they are drinking locally made liquor.

“We offer delicious handcrafted cocktails, great service, and a relaxing upscale environment,” says John Martens, co-owner of Iron Street Distillery. “Our customers love the unique setting where they can have a conversation, play some games, listen to live music, and take part in Trivia each week. We receive a lot of positive feedback on the quality of our drinks and our excellent service.”

Iron Street Distillery is a member of Benton Economic Partnership, Inc., and has used various programs offered to new companies opening in the area. Martens says Iron Street Distillery is the beneficiary of a BEP loan that covered capital expenditures to help grow the business.

“BEP is there to support both businesses in their infancy and well-established companies in Benton County,” he adds. “It supported our business growth through many different interactions. It's great to have BEP in the community, and Benton County is a better place due to its efforts.”
