The City of Sauk Rapids started as a single house in 1851 and has grown into a community of 14,000 residents. It is located across the river from St. Cloud and continues to expand as more people and businesses move there.
Sauk Rapids has experienced balanced economic development over the years. It is home to retail businesses like Mixin’ It Up Gluten Free Bakery and Jimmy’s Pour House, while supporting large-scale job creation from multiple construction and renovation companies in the area.
Both U.S. Highways 10 and 15 run through Sauk Rapids, making it easy to access for companies delivering and shipping freight. It is just a few minutes away from I-94. Getting to Sauk Rapids is easy, and once you’re here, you won’t want to leave.
