Local restaurants, food trucks, wine makers, brewers, caterers, and other hospitality businesses can sign up to participate in Taste of Benton County on Wednesday, July 22. The event is expected to attract 300 to 500 attendees who love Benton County businesses and want to try their food. Vendors will provide small bites for participants to try different cuisines and restaurants throughout the night.
Taste of Benton County will be held at Sauk Rapids Sports Area East (1410 3rd Ave S) from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will have enough room for up to 24 vendors. There are still openings left for businesses that want to participate.
Customize Your Space to Promote Your Brand
Each vendor will have a table to display signage and serve their food. Vendors can also bring business cards and other giveaways to promote their businesses.
“This is a great marketing opportunity for companies to get in front of hundreds of potential customers and share their delicious food,” says Amanda Othoudt, Executive Director of the Benton Economic Partnership, Inc. “If attendees love what you bring to this event, they can turn into customers shortly after.”
If you need an electrical connection at your table, please indicate it in your application. The Benton Economic Partnership team will do its best to accommodate your needs.
Apply Now to Receive a Vendor Stipend
If you are interested in being a vendor, we have an exciting announcement. With support from a Joy and Connection Grant from the Initiative Foundation, the first 12 vendors to sign up will receive a $200 stipend. We understand that staffing an event like this may not always fit your budget, and we want to help make participation possible. In addition, we have waived the membership fee for Taste of Benton County vendors who sign up by May 30, 2026.
“Our goal is to see businesses succeed,” says Othoudt. “This includes helping restaurants find marketing, financing, and hiring tools to make their operations easier. We work with companies year-round to support their efforts in the region.”
Not only is Taste of Benton County a fundraiser for the Benton Economic Partnership, Inc., but it also benefits the greater community. A percent of the event's profits will go to a local non-profit.
