Since 2016, Benton Economic Partnership, Inc. (BEP) has partnered with community leaders throughout the county to harness our collective resources, energy and passion to help make Benton County an even better place to live, work, and thrive.
Our dedicated staff and board of directors work together to attract new industries, support business growth, and foster workforce development, all while enhancing the quality of life for our community’s residents.
This collaborative effort brings together passionate representatives from the local school district, banks, private companies, city, township and county agencies.
And over the past ten years, our member-driven organization has continued putting an emphasis on empowering development, growth and excellence to ensure a stronger foundation for the future of Benton County through:
- Leveraging more than $5.2 million in public (state and local) incentives, resulting in more than $122.5 million in private capital investment in the county.
- Facilitating projects that retained 615 jobs and created 252 new full-time jobs at an average wage of $27.33 per hour.
- Securing more than $7 million in grants and external funding for the county.
Supporting Our Small Businesses
Together with our sponsors, we place a heavy priority on small business development.
It’s these companies that drive long-term regional stability, diversity and economic resilience for the region, accounting for 55% of all job creation in Benton County over the last decade.
